Hi, I’m Ellie, a passionate jewellery designer and teacher in Kent. I believe that jewellery should be beautifully handcrafted with skill, care, and meaning—especially when it comes to wedding rings. That’s exactly why I love helping couples handcraft their own wedding rings, creating not just jewellery, but unforgettable memories.

I was trained in traditional silversmithing and goldsmithing techniques, which I now pass on to couples, guiding them as they shape their own high-quality wedding rings in recycled gold or silver.

My Journey into Jewellery Design

Before becoming a full-time jewellery designer, I spent 16 years working as a scientist. But my passion for creativity led me to change paths. In 2004, I graduated from Sir John Cass School of Art and Design (London Metropolitan University) with an HND in Silversmithing, Jewellery, and Allied Crafts. Since then, I’ve been fully immersed in the world of jewellery—designing, making, and teaching.

I absolutely love the process of making jewellery and, I’ll admit it—I’m a total tool geek! There’s something special about shaping raw materials into meaningful, wearable art.

Make Your Own Wedding Rings

Since 2016, I’ve been helping couples make their own wedding rings in my workshop. I’ve recently moved to my new happy place, a picturesque location on a beautiful farm just outside Shoreham in Kent. It’s a wonderful experience for those who want their wedding rings to hold extra sentimental value, knowing they’ve created them with their own hands.

Nature-Inspired, Sustainable Jewellery

With a background in environmental science, I’ve always been inspired by nature’s textures, shapes, and delicate patterns. My jewellery reflects this influence, blending sustainable materials with elegant, timeless designs. From 1999 to 2023, I created original handcrafted jewellery, bringing a sense of ‘everyday extravagance’ to my customers.
