You have the all important question to ask your partner and have an idea for a unique engagement ring – but what happens next? The commissioning process is simple and designed to ensure you’re involved every step of the way:

1. Initial Consultation
   We’ll chat over the phone, video call, or meet in person to discuss your ideas for your bespoke piece. This is where we’ll talk about your vision, the materials you’d like, your budget, and the timeline for completion.

1. Estimate
   Based on our discussion, I’ll provide an estimate for the design and creation of your jewellery. As precious metal prices can fluctuate, the estimate will reflect the current cost of materials.

1. Design Sketches
   If you’re happy to move forward, I’ll create detailed design sketches for your approval. This is your chance to provide feedback and ensure the design is exactly what you envisioned.

1. Deposit
   Once the design is finalised, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure the commission and begin work.

1. Handcrafting Your Jewellery
   I will handcraft your bespoke engagement ring (or other wedding jewellery) from start to finish in my Kent studio, ensuring every detail aligns with your design. Progress photos of the making process can be provided upon request.

1. Final Delivery
   Once complete, your bespoke jewellery will be presented to you or delivered if you prefer. If you’re happy with everything, the final balance payment will be due at this stage.
